Running from the outer edge of valve seats, across combustion chamber to cylinder bolt threaded inserts, and this was indeed case when head came me 10 years ago. This beautiful big fin Clubman head is spotlessly clean and in near-perfect condition. This head is absolutely positively good to go for any application on road or track.

Combustion chamber is clean, has some grinding marks that could be cleaned up, otherwise very good, head gasket surface clean smooth, all 8 copper bronze threaded inserts for cylinder hold-down bolts are solid, intact and in great shape, threads good. On this one, the crack inlet side continued from opposite of threaded insert to edge fin. Bsa part number, casting cast-in on the underside of bottom fin. Genuine Bsa DBD34GS 500cc gold Star big fin Clubman cylinder head with inlet port, in very good condition.
Copper bronze exhaust valve guide in place, inlet missing, seats very good condition, seat is steel, appears to be material.
Has the dbd-type thick inlet manifold flange with port, carb mounts on centers for big GP carb, stamping top right of 13 13mu right, underside is stamped along a sign.
