It is 8 across and 14. It is made of magnesium. I'm not quite sure what model it fits but I have narrowed down to a fz700 750 or fzr1000. Up for sale is a Yamaha five valve genesis engine cam cover.

As you can see in the picture it looks just like new. It is in really nice shape and would look great on your bike. They may be the same so I have put measurements in picture which should help you identify it.
