The mounting surface is flat, it not bent in any way and there are no cracks on either inside or outside of valve cover. Used genuine 2013 on Bmw R1200 Gs left cylinder head valve cover granite gray k50 fits water cooled model's part number 5 this side has a few scratches on it see the pictures. The valve cover was removed from a 2015 R1200 Gs. The cover could be repainted or a set of cylinder guards installed over top to hide scratches.

Other than the scratches valve cover itself is in very good condition and functions as it should.
